Our values guide everything we do. We are committed to God’s truth, authentic relationships, generational impact, life change through Christ, and reaching people with the gospel.
What we believe
-
We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created everything and invites us into a personal relationship with Him. He is the foundation of our lives and the center of our purpose. Following Him is our greatest calling, and everything we do flows from knowing Him.
-
God made the world and everything in it with intentional design. Human life is sacred because we are made in His image. By His design, there are two genders—male and female—and this identity is a gift from Him. We honor the Creator by valuing all life and influencing future generations to do the same.
-
Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, established by God as the foundation for family and society. It reflects Christ’s love for His Church and is given for our good and God’s glory. Strong marriages and families help us live out our mission to reach people and transform lives.
-
We trust the Bible as God’s Word—completely true and our ultimate guide for what we believe and how we live. It helps us grow spiritually and stay anchored when the world pulls us in other directions. Because we value God’s Word, we teach it faithfully, live it daily, and pass it on to the next generation.
-
Every person is created in God’s image and has incredible value.
But we have all sinned and fallen short of His standard. We cannot fix our brokenness on our own—that’s why we need Jesus. Through genuine relationships, we walk with each other toward the hope and healing only He can bring. -
Jesus came to rescue us. He lived a perfect life, died in our place, and rose again. Salvation is a gift from God, offered to anyone who puts their trust in Him. A Christ-centered life begins here, and it grows as we serve Him, give generously, and share His love with others.
-
The church isn’t a building—it’s people who belong to Jesus.
At Manley, we come together to worship, grow in community, serve with purpose, and reach our neighbors and the nations. Our mission is lived out in everyday life—where we follow Jesus, cultivate discipleship, contribute our gifts, and live sent. -
We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration that we belong to Jesus. Baptism is not required for salvation but is a step of obedience that always follows belief in Scripture (Acts 2:41, Acts 8:36–38, Romans 6:4).
The Lord’s Supper is a time for us to remember Christ’s sacrifice and look forward to His return—keeping our hope alive and our mission clear.
-
We believe Jesus is coming again.
Our hope isn’t just for this life—it’s for eternity with Him. Until He returns, we will stay focused on Following, Growing, Giving, Serving, and Reaching—so that more people experience the life-changing power of the gospel.
